On March 20, a recruitment event, co-organized by the Organization Department of Taizhou Municipal Party Committee, the Taizhou Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and Guizhou University, kicked off on the West Campus at Guizhou University (GZU). The event aims to bridge talent gaps and boost regional cooperation between Taizhou City in Zhejiang Province and Guizhou Province.

The event featured 100 local employers ranging from advanced manufacturers to biomedical firms, with over 3,000 positions available to students. By midday, hundreds of students from Guizhou University and 10 nearby colleges, had lined up to meet with recruiters, with many candidates citing Taizhou's competitive salaries and generous relocation subsidies as key draws.

GZU Vice President Li Fei encouraged students to seize the opportunity and contribute their talents to Taizhou’s development.

Zhu Qiaoxiang, head of the Organization Department of Taizhou Municipal Party Committee, said Taizhou would offer full-cycle support for young professionals, including internships, employment subsidies, city integration services, and rural entrepreneurship programs, ensuring a welcoming environment for graduates.

The event also featured signing ceremonies for digital talent-sharing and technical training partnerships. Guizhou University’s State Key Laboratory of Public Big Data partnered with the Taizhou Human Resources and Social Security Bureau to promote integrated development across government, industry, academia, and research. In addition, four paired institutions—including Taizhou Technician College with Guizhou Equipment Manufacturing Vocational College, and Taizhou First Technician College with Guizhou City Vocational College—established an "order-based training and targeted employment" model.

Deng Shengjing, a senior official from the Guizhou Provincial Department of Education, said the event marked not just a meeting of talent and opportunity, but a new beginning for collaboration between the two regions.
