Three GZU Scholars Featured on Elsevier’s 2024 “Highly Cited Chinese Researchers” List

On March 25th, Elsevier released the 2024 “Highly Cited Chinese Researchers” list, recognizing 6,388 scholars from 547 universities, enterprises, and research institutions across China. The list spans 10 academic fields and 83 first-level disciplines designated by the Ministry of Education. Among the honorees are Academician Song Bao’an, President of Guizhou University; Professor Wang Jinrong, Vice President; and Professor Chi Yonggui from the Fine Chemical Research and Development Center.

The Highly Cited Chinese Researcherslist, which is developed by Elsevier by means of the Scopus citation and indexing database, recognizes globally influential Chinese scholars according to their research contributions as first-authors or corresponding-authors. It reflects the disciplinary strengths and talent distribution of institutions and universities across China.
