Notice on the Convening of "The 5^th International Conference on Mountainous Agriculture and Green Plant Protection"

To Whom It May Concern:

To foster collaboration between China and countries along the Belt and Road Initiative in the fields of mountainous agriculture and green plant protection, drive technological innovation and high-quality development in plant health, and support the implementation of rural revitalization strategies, the organizing committee is pleased to announce "The 5th International Conference on Mountainous Agriculture and Green Plant Protection." Approved by relevant authorities, the conference will be held in Guiyang, China, from August 8 to 12, 2025. Concurrently, the 6th International Conference on Molecular Plant Sciences and the inaugural ceremony of the International Plant Protection Cooperation Organization (IPPCO) will take place.

I. Conference Themes

Plant Health, Green Plant Protection, High-Quality Development

II. Participants

The conference will bring together domestic and international academicians, distinguished experts, representatives from research institutions, universities, and enterprises, members of the IPPCO, and young talents endorsed by the China Plant Protection Society and the China Association for Science and Technology.

Expected attendance: Approximately 200 participants.

III. Dates and Venue

Dates: August 8–12, 2025

• August 8: All-day registration

• August 9: Opening ceremony and keynote speeches

• August 10: Thematic sessions: IPPCO inaugural Ceremony, Young Doctorate Forum, and Youth Talent Forum of the China Plant Protection Society

• August 11: Post-conference field visit

• August 12: Departure

Venue: Dacheng Jingshe Hotel (CONFUCIUS INN, Huaxi District, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province)

IV. Session Formats

The conference will feature:

• Invited presentations by renowned academicians and experts.

• Thematic sessions divided into three parallel tracks:

  1. Thematic Reports and Young Doctoral Forum

  2. IPPCO inaugural Ceremony

  3. Youth Talent Forum of the China Plant Protection Society

Note: Participants intending to deliver a thematic presentation must submit their title to chenym@gzu.edu.cn by June 30, 2025.

V. Registration and Fees

• No registration fee is required.

• All participants, except invited experts, are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses.

• Please complete the registration form (including accommodation preferences and presentation title, if applicable) and submit it to chenym@gzu.edu.cn by June 30, 2025. Late submissions may not be accommodated.
