On April 2, 2025, NAICET faculty and students launched the second phase of their social practice named “Hi, Lora” in Luodian County, Qiannan Buyei and Miao Autonomous Prefecture.
The team presented a report on cultural and creative products for Dragon Fruit, including pillows, magnets, WeChat emoji, T-shirts, and shopping mini-programs. A promotional video and an online live-streaming sales campaign were included and more details would be discussed in the future collaboration. Additionally, the team addressed challenges to local scenic spots and discussed solutions with the government which has explicitly expressed the hope that the team can continue to the promotion of cultural and tourism in Qiannan, the agriculture-tourism integration, the intangible cultural heritage protection, and volunteer services.
Foreign professors from the US and the UK were deeply impressed by the picturesque natural beauty and unique cultural heritage of Luodian.
